Salesforge is a multichannel sales execution platform, cold email and LinkedIn sequencing, AI-generated copy, a shared inbox, and Agent Frank, its AI SDR. It is the front end of a six-product family that also includes Infraforge, Mailforge, Primeforge, Warmforge and Leadsforge.
That last sentence is the reason most people end up on this page. The sequencer on its own does not send anything; it needs mailboxes, infrastructure, warmup and data behind it, and in this ecosystem each of those is a separate purchase. The alternatives below differ mostly in how much of that they fold into one product.
What to compare
- Channels in one sequence. Whether LinkedIn and email are genuinely interleaved steps in a single cadence, or two campaigns you coordinate manually.
- What is included versus bolted on. Count the subscriptions needed to actually send: sequencer, mailboxes, infrastructure, warmup, data.
- AI personalization depth. Whether the AI is trained on your offer and your prospect research, or generating generic copy from a template.
- Reply automation and its guardrails. How much you can customise tone, escalation and the handoff to a human.
- Lead quality controls. Whether anything stops a bad-fit lead entering a sequence before it costs you a send and a reputation hit.
- Billing terms. Monthly versus annual, and per-seat versus flat.
1. Outboundry, the consolidated stack
Outboundry is the closest like-for-like on capability and the furthest from it on structure. LinkedIn and email run as steps in the same sequence, so a connection request, a LinkedIn message and an email follow-up are one cadence with shared logic rather than two campaigns you reconcile by hand.
What is inside the same subscription: 500M+ lead records with verified emails and mobile numbers, LinkedIn company follower exports, Google and Microsoft mailboxes at $4/month, Mailboundry dedicated-IP infrastructure, unlimited warmup, the unified inbox, a CRM pipeline, AI personalization trained on your offer, the AI Reply Agent and ICP Score.
Two differentiators worth naming specifically. ICP Score rates every lead against your ideal customer profile before enrolment, so poor-fit prospects never consume a send, there is no equivalent in the Salesforge product set. And the Reply Agent is built for customization: you set the tone, the objection handling, the escalation rules and the exact point at which a human takes the conversation, rather than accepting a fixed agent persona.
Best for: teams running LinkedIn and email together who would rather manage one platform than five.
Watch out for: if you have already bought infrastructure and data elsewhere on annual terms, some of the value is duplicated until those renew.
Plan against plan
Salesforge sells two self-serve tiers. Here is how they line up against the equivalent Outboundry plans on monthly billing.
| Salesforge Pro $48/mo |
Salesforge Growth $96/mo |
Outboundry Starter $39/mo |
Outboundry Growth $89/mo |
|
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn senders | 1 | Unlimited | 1 | 3 |
| Emails / month | 5,000 | 50,000 | 20,000 | 50,000 |
| Active contacts in sequence | 1,000 | 10,000 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Personalization credits | 300 / mo | 1,000 / mo | Included with AI Personalization | |
| Lead data | Leadsforge, from $49/mo | Lead Finder, from $29/mo | ||
| Mailboxes | Primeforge, $4.50/mo each | $4.00/mo each | ||
| Private infrastructure | Infraforge, $4.50–$4.00 + $100/IP | Mailboundry, from $2.00, IP included | ||
| ICP scoring | No | No | Yes | Yes |
The sequencer line is close, $96 against $89 for comparable email volume, with Salesforge ahead on unlimited LinkedIn senders and Outboundry ahead on active contacts and email volume at the entry tier ($39 for 20,000 emails against $48 for 5,000).
The gap opens underneath. A working Salesforge setup adds Leadsforge for data, Primeforge for mailboxes, Infraforge for infrastructure and Warmforge for warmup. Take 25 mailboxes: $112.50 a month through Primeforge against $100 through Outboundry, or about $50 through Mailboundry if private infrastructure suits the campaign. Add data at $49 for 2,000 Leadsforge credits against $29 for the same 2,000 with us. Then add warmup, which is a fifth subscription on their side and included in the plan on ours.
Competitor pricing taken from their public pricing pages at the time of writing. Prices change, verify current rates before you decide.
2. Salesforge, the incumbent
Genuinely strong at what it does. Multichannel sequencing works, Agent Frank is one of the more credible AI SDR implementations in the market, Primebox handles LinkedIn and email replies in one place, and the whitelabel programme is well developed for agencies reselling outreach.
Pro is $48 a month with one LinkedIn sender, 1,000 active contacts and 5,000 emails. Growth is $96 with unlimited LinkedIn senders, 10,000 active contacts and 50,000 emails. Both meter email validation, personalization and social action credits separately.
Best for: teams who want a mature AI SDR specifically, and who are comfortable buying the surrounding products from the same family.
Watch out for: metered personalization credits, and the four other subscriptions needed to actually send. Price the whole thing before you compare.
3. Instantly, cold email volume, nothing else
Purpose-built for high-volume cold email with unlimited mailbox connections, solid warmup and a straightforward campaign builder. If email is your only channel and you already have data and infrastructure sorted, it is efficient and well priced.
Best for: email-only teams at volume.
Watch out for: no LinkedIn channel, and lead data quality that most teams end up supplementing.
4. Smartlead, agency-oriented email at scale
Similar territory to Instantly with stronger multi-client workspace support, whitelabel options and a well-used API. Popular with agencies for exactly those reasons.
Best for: agencies running many client email accounts who want deep API control.
Watch out for: email-only again, and an interface that assumes technical comfort.
5. HeyReach, LinkedIn-first
Built for LinkedIn at scale with genuinely good multi-account management and safety limits, which matters because LinkedIn restrictions are unforgiving. If LinkedIn is 80% of your motion, a LinkedIn-first tool beats a multichannel tool that treats it as a secondary channel.
Best for: LinkedIn-led agencies and teams.
Watch out for: email is secondary, so you will pair it with something else.
6. Lemlist, personalization and brand polish
Strong on creative personalization, dynamic images, custom landing pages, video, and a well-designed product overall. Multichannel support exists and works.
Best for: smaller teams where each message is high-value and creative differentiation pays.
Watch out for: cost per seat at team size, and lead data that is thinner than dedicated providers.
Side by side
| LinkedIn + email in one sequence | Lead data included | Infrastructure included | ICP scoring | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Outboundry | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Salesforge | Yes | Leadsforge, from $49/mo | Primeforge + Infraforge | No |
| Instantly | Email only | Add-on | Add-on | No |
| Smartlead | Email only | Add-on | Add-on | No |
| HeyReach | LinkedIn-first | No | No | No |
| Lemlist | Yes | Limited | No | No |
The decision
If you are email-only and already have data and infrastructure, Instantly or Smartlead will serve you fine and cost less. If you are LinkedIn-only, HeyReach is the specialist.
If you are running both channels and are tired of assembling a stack, and particularly if your bottleneck is list quality rather than sending capacity, which is where ICP scoring earns its place, that consolidation is the whole reason Outboundry exists.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Salesforge alternative?
Outboundry if you want LinkedIn and email in one sequence with data, infrastructure and AI included in a single subscription. Instantly or Smartlead if you only send cold email and already have data and infrastructure sorted. HeyReach if you are LinkedIn-only.
How many products do you need to replace Salesforge?
To match a full Salesforge setup you generally need the sequencer plus infrastructure, mailboxes, warmup and lead data, which in that ecosystem is Salesforge, Infraforge or Mailforge, Primeforge, Warmforge and Leadsforge. That is the main reason people look for a consolidated alternative.
Does Salesforge do LinkedIn outreach?
Yes, it supports multichannel sequences across email and LinkedIn, and manages both in a shared inbox. If LinkedIn is your primary channel rather than a secondary one, compare against tools built LinkedIn-first as well.
What is ICP scoring and does Salesforge have it?
ICP scoring rates each lead against your ideal customer profile before enrolment so you only sequence good-fit prospects. Outboundry includes it. It is not a feature in the Salesforge product set, which is a meaningful gap if list quality is your bottleneck.
Can an AI reply agent actually book meetings?
It can handle the mechanical part reliably: classifying replies, answering common objections, proposing times and following up on non-responses. What matters is how much control you have over tone, guardrails and the handoff point where a human takes over. Judge reply agents on customization, not on the demo.
